Is there really a correct way to give? I believe there is, and so I'm moved to examine my philosophy with you today. We must give with a sincere gratitude. Begin to appreciate the fact that you have to give, and let that alone be your repayment. Watch what abundances come your way!
I give a lot. In fact, I'm always giving, (sometimes my very last), yet no one ever gives to me. Does this sound like you? If it does, perhaps you are giving the wrong way.
Let's stop and think. Isn't it funny that you always give, and no one ever gives you, yet you still always have to give? What gives with that?
Those who give always seem to 'have' to give. Those who don't give, perhaps, just don't have much to give at all. So maybe a remedy of having more is simply to give more... without expectations of receiving that is...
To freely give is to not expect anything in return. After all, when you decide to give something, it comes from your heart, does it not?
If you give with the expectation of receiving something in return - give a friend a hammer or even $10,000 - then the fact that you were even able to give is probably all the repayment you may ever receive.
If you want something in return, then why give in the first place? Why not sell, or pawn, your gift? Why not trade it for something else? If it's money you're giving, why not invest it and collect the interest in return? After all, you are defeating the purpose of giving the gift, in principal, anyway!
Open your mind and your heart now! Today, use this principal of giving without expecting, and watch your pot of abundance begin to overflow! Not only are you going to feel good that you gave, but you'll begin to appreciate the fact that you were even able to give, and also, you watch, abundances from sources not yet thought of will begin to come into your life ten fold!
Give freely today - plant your seeds; and watch as the universe and GOD returns your freely given gift exponentially - your seeds will burst into gorgeous fruitful flowers and strong, brilliant, graceful trees! Your heart has already harvested great abundance!
